Our Story

Thompson Show Feed is a vertically-integrated family-run business rooted in a love for livestock and a commitment to quality feed. We started on our own farm in Wilmington, Ohio, producing feed for our kids’ 4-H animals. Word spread, and soon our homegrown feed was in demand! Today, we provide premium-quality feed and expert advice for swine, cattle, and goats, helping animals across the nation shine in the show ring.

History of Thompson Show Feed

Modern feed mill

Our feed mill cranks out around 35,000 tons of feed each year, mostly for swine, cattle, and goats. With advanced technology and strict quality checks, we make sure every batch is up to our high standards. We don’t do fillers or harmful ingredients – just quality feed that helps your livestock look and feel their best!

Vast storage

At Thompson Show Feed, our facilities are all about quality and care. We use our own homegrown corn in our feeds, and we’ve got a 900,000-bushel corn storage on-site. We believe in local sourcing because it means we can trace the quality right back to our fields and ensure the best for your animals.

Diverse product range

We’re proud to offer a variety of our own specially-crafted show feeds including low protein, high energy formulas we figured out before anyone else! Each one is made with care and a focus on quality nutrition. Whether you need piglet starter feeds or advanced show feeds for prize cattle, we’ve got something for every future champion in the making.
